The Garden of Earthly Delights is a massive triptych filled with bizarre creatures, strange humans, fantastical landscapes, grotesque imagery, and an entire panel devoted to Hell.
The right-hand panel is particularly fascinating for horror fans.
It's packed with monsters, bizarre punishments, strange machines, musical instruments, and creatures that look like they escaped from a fever dream.
Bosch essentially created an entire horror universe centuries before horror movies existed.
And somehow, he did it without CGI.
