70 Million People Can't All Be Wrong
Well...
Technically, 70 million people can absolutely be wrong about something.
Have you seen the Internet?
But in this case, the numbers are impressive.
Behaviour Interactive announced in June 2026 that Dead by Daylight had surpassed 70 million players. The studio also described 2025 as the game's most successful year so far, with more than six million new players joining during that year alone.
Even more impressive, Behaviour reported that revenue over the preceding twelve months had increased by more than 50 percent.
That's not the profile of a game quietly shuffling toward retirement.
That's a game apparently sharpening its knife.
