September 8 Can't Come Soon Enough
There is always a little bit of danger when a beloved horror movie gets turned into a video game.
Fans don't just want a game that happens to have Michael Myers in it.
They want Halloween.
They want the atmosphere.
They want the quiet streets.
They want the eerie music.
They want Haddonfield.
They want the feeling that Michael could be standing somewhere in the background and you simply haven't noticed him yet.
From everything we've seen so far, Halloween: The Game appears to be making a serious attempt to capture that feeling while giving players something the movie never could:
the ability to decide what happens next.
And on September 8, 2026, we're going to find out whether Haddonfield can survive another Halloween night.
My prediction?
Probably not.
After all...
The Boogeyman is coming home.
And this time, he's playable.
