You Can't Kill the Boogeyman
The game is also leaning heavily into one of the most important rules of Halloween:
Michael Myers doesn't die.
According to the developers, Michael cannot simply be killed by the Civilians.
However, players can work together, gather equipment and use enough manpower to detain Michael and send him back to Smith's Grove Sanitarium.
That's an interesting twist.
You're not necessarily trying to defeat Michael forever.
You're trying to survive long enough to put him back where he belongs.
Which is probably a good idea considering what happened the last time somebody assumed Michael was finally dead.
