But you don't have to listen to the same playlist every year.
Go exploring.
Try dark synth.
Dark ambient.
Industrial.
Gothic.
Dungeon synth.
Horror soundtracks.
Experimental electronic music.
Soundscapes.
Instrumental horror.
You can even build a playlist that starts with atmospheric music and gradually becomes more disturbing as the night progresses.
Start with something relatively normal.
Finish with something that sounds like a demon has discovered a synthesizer.
That's called range.
