#15 Discover an Indie Horror Artist
Horror art doesn't get nearly enough attention.
This Halloween, find an artist whose work you've never seen.
Look for:
- Creature artists
- Horror illustrators
- Comic artists
- Poster designers
- Digital painters
- Practical-effects artists
- Mask makers
- Sculptors
- Photographers
- Pixel artists
Instagram, Bluesky, DeviantArt, ArtStation, Cara and other creative communities are full of people making strange and disturbing things.
Find somebody whose work makes you stop scrolling.
Then follow them.
Maybe buy a print.
Maybe share their work.
And if they have a website, actually visit it.
You might discover an entire body of work you never knew existed.
