#17 Find a Horror Creator and Actually Talk to Them
This is surprisingly powerful.
If somebody creates something you enjoy, tell them.
Not:
“Cool.”
Although that's better than nothing.
Try:
“I really liked the way you handled the creature.”
Or:
“That ending genuinely caught me off guard.”
Or:
“I found your channel through this video and I'm going back through the older stuff now.”
Creators remember comments like that.
Especially smaller creators.
You're not talking to a faceless corporation.
You're talking to somebody who may have spent months making the thing you're watching.
