Horror comics deserve more attention.
They're capable of creating entire worlds without needing a film crew, sound department or $80 million budget.
For classics, try The EC Archives and Creepy.
For something more modern, look at horror publishers such as Vault Comics, Dark Horse and Image Comics.
And don't stop with the big publishers.
Search for independent creators making their own horror comics.
You may find a comic being produced by one writer and one artist who are doing absolutely everything themselves.
That's exactly the sort of thing worth discovering.
