Eat My Brains [Official Website]

Welcome to Eatmybrains, a new Horror / Cult / Indie film site for all you brain-and-entrails-starved horror fans.

We'll be publishing the usual latest news, reviews, features, and top ten lists as well as competitions and reports from our bi-weekly Zombie Club nights.

How it all started

Eatmybrains began on-set of British zombie film Shaun of the Dead in the Summer of 2003. A hundred zombie extras descended on New Cross, London, to help film an exterior shot for the film. Strangely for the UK, the sun shone brightly that day, so instead of filming us 'free' zombies began chatting about the horror films, banned movies, books we owned, director's we liked, the usual splat-yak, and from there the idea of Zombie Club was born.

Initially built to spread the word of Zombie Club to the masses, the site grew and grew in scope, and finally, after much debating about names (deadwalking.com was also a favourite) and scratching heads of design and php coding, www.eatmybrains.com recieved a soft-launch in early April 2004.

Moving forwards

Over the last few years we've done our best to provide you with as much cult and horror film news and reviews and possible, fitting writing in as often as we can around day jobs, girlfriends, wives, kids, and other commitments. Our aim is to continue to the best of our ability, in our pursuit of making eatmybrains.com a comprehensive guide to online horror films, and are currently seeking like-minded people to help us in this project.

If you like what you see so far, or if you have a review you would like to send in for us to publish, or even some juicy gossip or some feature ideas, please let us know through the contact us link.
